Year of the Dragon
Chinese New Year 2 10 2024
In celebration of this auspicious year of the wood dragon, I was fortunate to attend a Dragon and Lion dance this weekend.
DRAGON celebrates the new year and signifies prosperity, power, strength, vigor, and charm.

LIONS chase away bad luck/spirits, making way for good luck and fortune.
LAUGHING MONK represent happiness and wellbeing. His presence at the New Year celebration is based upon the story of three laughing monks who did not speak because they “embodied a truth that life, at its core, is meant to be lived with joy, embraced with laughter, and celebrated with the lightness of being.”

May dragon energy be part of your life every day.
